On Friday, June 10, Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal hosted its 2nd Annual Kalkreuth Vendor Invitational Benefitting the Easter Seals with valued vendor partners across the country and garnered over 130 participants. Kalkreuth vendor partners sponsored the Kalkreuth Amateur Golf Classic on June 11 and 12 to secure their participation in the Vendor Invitational on June 10.
The Kalkreuth Amateur Golf Classic is an extension of the oldest running amateur golf tournament in the Ohio Valley and dates back to 1945. Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal took over as title sponsor in 2007. Since that time, the tournament has benefitted the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in Wheeling, WV and now attracts nearly 200 participants from the Ohio Valley and surrounding areas. Kalkreuth’s vendor partners joined together to aid in the ultimate goal of the Kalkreuth Amateur Golf Classic—to support the Easter Seals while continuing a local tradition.
The Easter Seals are committed to creating solutions that change the lives of people living with disabilities throughout the Ohio Valley. Special events, such as the Kalkreuth golf events, help offset the cost of caring for patients with inadequate monetary resources. The Easter Seals is a non-profit organization with a heartfelt commitment to providing various services so these children and adults can live, learn, work, and play in their communities.
