For a limited time, you can become an NRCA ProCertification Qualified Trainer by participating in a special two-day conference. This opportunity only is available for the next few months; once the ProCertification program launches, individuals will be required to participate in a week-long program to become NRCA ProCertification Qualified Trainers.

By participating in one of the upcoming trainer conferences, you will gain practical, how-to training skills while becoming an NRCA ProCertification Qualified Trainer. New roofing industry trainers will gain a strong foundation in critical training skills, and seasoned trainers will be introduced to best practices for delivering powerful training presentations and effective hands-on training. Participants also will learn how the NRCA ProCertification program works, including its goals, policies and procedures.

This program is designed for those with:

  • Three or more years of roofing industry experience with single-ply membranes and/or asphalt shingles
  • Interest in becoming a roofing industry trainer

After completing the program, you will be able to:

  • Conduct hands-on demonstrations and use effective coaching skills
  • Incorporate training best practices into your training sessions
  • Train roofing workers in installation skills
  • Verify trainees' successful completion of training

On March 6-7, the roofing industry will come together in Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Congress and their staffs. We will deliver our message about the most important legislative and regulatory issues affecting the roofing industry and your business. Our goal is to have 1,000 roofing professionals participate. This is a unique and exciting opportunity as we will take over Capitol Hill and speak with one voice as a united industry!

What's included

The event includes a reception Tuesday night, March 6, a breakfast Wednesday, March 7, and training Wednesday morning for how to best communicate with members of Congress and their staffs. You are on your own for travel and hotel expenses. NRCA will schedule your Congressional appointments for you; they will start Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. All you have to do is show up to join the roofing industry in delivering our message with one voice!

Sign up to be a Team Captain

NRCA is looking for Team Captains from each state. To be a Team Captain, you agree to participate in Roofing Day in D.C. 2018, assist in the promotion of the event and recruit industry colleagues from your state. (NRCA will assist you.)
