Bob Ricken is the National Contractor and Marketing Program Manager for Johns Manville (JM) Roofing Systems. Bob began his roofing career in 1994 in sales with a roofing contractor in Chicago, IL. He has worked in nearly all channels of the commercial roofing industry as a contractor, distributor, and the last five years, manufacturing sales with JM. He began his career at JM as a salesperson supporting the Chicago area, and was promoted to Territory Sales Manager to lead that team. In September 2016, Bob accepted the role of Contractor Program Manager where he now oversees the JM Peak Advantage® Program.

Eric A. Olson, Technical Manager Single Ply

Eric A. Olson is the Technical Manager Single Ply for Johns Manville (JM) Roofing Systems. Eric has been with JM since June 2006, and started his career in Johns Manville’s Insulation Systems division. His responsibilities in IS included technical support for all insulation products including installation, performance, code compliance and system design. Most recently, he was part of JM’s Global Supply Chain with Technical/Sourcing manager responsibilities for private label roofing accessory commodities across all membrane type; bituminous and single ply. Eric holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Daniel R. Blasini, TPO Product Manager

Daniel R. Blasini, Ph. D. is the TPO Product Manager for Johns Manville (JM) Roofing Systems. Daniel has been with JM since August 2006, and started his career in Corporate Research and Development. His responsibilities in R&D for six years included formulation optimization, development and management for SBS and APP polymer modified bitumen roofing membranes. Most recently, he was part of JM’s Global Supply Chain for four years with Technical/ Sourcing manager responsibilities for TPO and EPDM Single Ply roofing commodities. Daniel holds a Doctorate degree in Analytical Chemistry, with emphasis in polymer chemistry and surface analysis from Cornell University.
RI8 - Skylight 101 from Logistics Lighting
Eric G. Huffman, President, Logistics Lighting, LLC

Eric G. Huffman has been involved in the daylighting industry for over 20 years. His involvement in all aspects from product design, to installation and sales provides a unique perspective on the industry. Eric is currently the President of Logistics Lighting, one of the largest independent distributors of commercial skylights and related products. Logistics Lighting is the skylight program partner for Johns Manville.
Eric has served on the board of directors for the Sustainable Buildings Industry Council; he is currently serving as a Senior Fellow for The Eneref Institute, and also on the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, Daylighting Council and he has also been a panelist on several US Congressional events concerning energy efficiency. Eric has also actively participated in various programs with the US Green Building Council and Habitat for Humanity.

By choosing to work with 12-foot rolls, the new roof has fewer total seams and the number of rolls the crew had to handle was lower. By design, there will be a higher wind uplift rating and less fluttering. The roof is also ENERGY STAR® rated.
